The product & what's in it

What is HoneyCharge?

HoneyCharge is a real-honey energy gel built for training. Each single-serve sachet gives you fast carbohydrates from natural unfiltered honey, 5g of protein, and 220mg of sodium for electrolytes. It comes in two versions: Original (caffeine-free) and Ignite (100mg natural caffeine from green tea).

What are the exact ingredients?

Original: Natural unfiltered honey, whey protein isolate, hydrolyzed collagen protein, sea salt and vanilla. (5 ingredients)

Ignite: Natural unfiltered honey, whey protein isolate, hydrolyzed collagen protein, sea salt, green tea extract and vanilla. (6 ingredients)

That's the complete list — no proprietary blends, no artificial colors, no fillers. See the full breakdown with what each one does.

How many calories are in a serving?

Each sachet is 30g and contains 80 calories, 20g of carbohydrate, 0g fat, 5g of protein, and 220mg of sodium. One sachet is one serving. The Original and Ignite pouches hold 12 sachets each; the Performance Variety Pack holds 20 (10 Original + 10 Ignite).

How much caffeine is in each serving?
  • Original: 0mg — completely caffeine-free.
  • Ignite: 100mg of natural caffeine from green tea extract, roughly one cup of coffee.

Do not exceed 3 Ignite sachets in a day.

What makes it different from other pre-workouts?
  • Real honey instead of dextrose, maltodextrin or syrup blends
  • No artificial sweeteners, dyes or fillers
  • Nothing hidden behind a "proprietary blend" — every ingredient is on the label
  • Protein and collagen included, not just carbs
  • Portable, no-mix, no-mess sachets
  • Natural caffeine option instead of synthetic
Does the protein or caffeine change the taste?

No. The ingredients were selected specifically to blend into honey without altering its natural taste or texture. It tastes like honey, with a touch of real vanilla.

Where is HoneyCharge made?

HoneyCharge is distributed by HoneyCharge, Florida, USA. Our blend is produced in small batches using high-quality honey and natural ingredients.

Using it

How do I use it?

Knead the sachet, tear the top, and squeeze. Kneading it first for a few seconds gets the honey flowing so it comes out clean. Take it straight, or squeeze it into water, tea, oatmeal — whatever fits your routine. No shaker, no scoop, no mixing.

When should I take it?

10–15 minutes before training for the pre-workout hit. You can also take it mid-session for sustained energy on long efforts, or after training for recovery.

Which version should I choose?
  • Original — evening workouts, long endurance runs, everyday fuel, or if you're sensitive to caffeine.
  • Ignite — early morning lifts, race day, heavy sessions, or when you want clean focus.

Want both? The Performance Variety Pack gets you 10 Original and 10 Ignite sachets in one pouch — 20 servings.

Can I take it every day?

Yes. These are food ingredients — honey, protein, sea salt, vanilla. If you're using Ignite, just keep an eye on your total daily caffeine across coffee, tea and anything else.

Will it break a fast?

Yes — 20g of carbohydrate will break a fast. That said, plenty of people take it right before fasted cardio specifically for the clean energy. Your call.

How should I store it?

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Honey is naturally shelf-stable, so no refrigeration is needed. If it crystallizes, that's normal and harmless — knead the sachet and it flows again.

Safety & allergens

Does HoneyCharge contain dairy?

ImportantYes. Both Original and Ignite contain milk, from the whey protein isolate. Our label reads "Contains: Milk (from protein)." If you have a dairy allergy, do not use this product.

Is it gluten-free?

None of our ingredients contain gluten. However, we are not currently certified gluten-free. If you have celiac disease or a serious gluten sensitivity, please contact us before ordering and we'll tell you exactly what we know about our production facility.

Is it safe for kids?

Ignite is not recommended for anyone under 18 because of the caffeine. Original is caffeine-free, but it does contain milk protein — check with your pediatrician first.

Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?

Ignite is not recommended for pregnant or nursing women. For Original, check with your doctor first, as you would with any supplement.

Is there a limit on how much I can take?

For Ignite: do not exceed 3 sachets per day, and do not combine it with other caffeine sources. Original has no caffeine limit, but as with any food, use common sense.

I'm sensitive to caffeine. What should I take?

Go with Original. It's completely caffeine-free and has the identical honey, protein and electrolyte base as Ignite.
